The construction site for the new day care center in Fahrenzhausen is progressing rapidly.
If everything goes according to plan, the facility is due to open after the summer vacation.
Fahrenzhausen
- In the municipality of Fahrenzhausen, the larger construction sites tend to take longer than in other places.
The new building of the St. Christopherus daycare center no longer fitted into the picture.
After a bit of delay before the start of the measure, things are now progressing at breakneck speed.
The house is growing quietly and at an impressive rate.
At the last meeting of the parish council in 2021, several parish councils wanted to be brought up to date by the Catholic Church, which looks after the construction site with its building department.

Since childcare is a compulsory task for the municipality, the political municipality of Fahrenzhausen pays two thirds of the costs.
The project was calculated at 6.7 million euros, of which around 1.3 million euros are expected as state subsidies.
The St. Christopherus children's home is due to start operating after the summer holidays, which is also conceivable in view of the external construction progress.
In the coming weeks, however, the local councils are also expecting an on-site visit to see what will be built with the millions in the community.
