Sheba Tel Hashomer Medical Center announced tonight (Sunday) that the fourth vaccine against Corona is safe to use, and the side effects that follow are similar to those seen in the first three vaccines.
The effective results of the increase in antibodies have not yet been obtained.
The study, which began last Monday, shows preliminary results regarding the safety of the fourth dose.
Thus, out of 154 vaccinated, about 80% reported mild local reactions, about 45% reported systemic symptoms including fever in 10% of cases that passed within 24 hours in most of them, weakness, muscle aches and headaches.

"From these data, it appears at this stage that the fourth vaccine profile is as safe as previous vaccine doses," said study leader Prof. Gili Regev.
"In the coming days, we will report preliminary findings regarding the initial rise in antibodies and immunity within a week of administering the vaccine."
Meanwhile, the director general of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Nachman Ash, on Friday approved the vaccination of residents of nursing homes, geriatric hospitals and out-of-home settings for the second time for double illness, regardless of the vaccinated age. Since they received the third dose, the employees of the institutions will also be able to be vaccinated in the fourth dose.
