The International Football Association (FIFA) has approved referee Shadi Tayseer Al-Shahf on the list of international referees for the current year, after he was nominated by the Football Association.
Speaking to SANA's sports representative, Al-Shahf indicated that his accreditation for the second year in a row gives him an incentive and increases his responsibility to continue working to raise his level for the better and represent Syria in an honorable way in international forums.
Al-Shahf pointed out that his presence on the list of international referees complements his selection a few months ago within the new AFC project to develop promising referees, as well as his success during the last period at the Asian Arbitration Academy, which he is about to graduate from.
It is noteworthy that Al-Shahf is a graduate of English literature at Damascus University and began arbitration about 13 years ago.
