The Prison Service will hold a hearing today (Sunday) for former intelligence officer, Rani Basha, who is involved in the prison affair at Gilboa Prison.
The hearing will be held through the zoom following the spread of the corona.
Oddly enough, the indictment does not include the suspicions against him that arise from the claim of a former prison warden, that "pimp" in them.
In a statement issued three weeks ago by the Commissioner of the Prisons Service, Rabbi Gondar Katie Perry, it was stated that her decision was made in light of the State Attorney's decision to open the investigation file, including in light of the prisoners' testimony.
The letter of suspicion against Basha, which is represented by attorney Eyal Basarglik, includes three sections: non-compliance with an instruction, inappropriate behavior and delivery or an attempt to deliver something to an unqualified person.

It should be emphasized that during the deliberations of the investigation committee for the escape of the six prisoners from Gilboa Prison, the committee members criticized the IPS disciplinary officer, Lt. Col. Ribi Shapira.
It turned out that while the committee recommended and urged the dismissal of Basha from the organization, it also recommended the dismissal of the prison commander, but the proceedings against him were closed in "darkness" and there is no record of them.
The woman claims through his lawyer, Advocate Basarglik, that there is a statute of limitations for disciplinary offenses, which stand for two years, and that he has already been tried in the past. Problems with what he did in fact, because he was suspended for a year after being interrogated for a long time, and that it was a matter of selective enforcement since the recommendations to take similar administrative proceedings against other prison officers - have disappeared.
