A Class II fire broke out in the Tuen Mun Typhoon Shelter. At about 6pm today (2nd), a wooden fishing boat on the sea off the Typhoon Shelter in Sam Shing Village suddenly caught fire. The fire became uncontrollable and a lot of smoke was emitted.
The firefighter arrived at the report and dispatched a two-throat and two-breathing cap team to fight the fire. The scene was full of flames. The news stated that the fishing boat was about 30 meters long and there were 8 people on board. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
Firefighters are fighting the blaze, and the cause of the fire is yet to be investigated.
