The month with the highest birth rates last year was June with 81 babies.

"For the team at the women's clinic, every single birth is a special event," says Dr.

Sabine Keim, acting head physician at the women's clinic.

"I would like to thank the parents for the trust they have placed in me and the entire obstetrics team for their empathetic care and care for the families."

Three delivery rooms for an individual birth

Expectant mothers can give birth at the Dachau Clinic from the 36th week of pregnancy. The birth is based on the individual wishes of the mother, who can also give birth to her baby in a birthing tub, for example. The women's clinic has three delivery rooms. There are modern delivery beds and monitor monitoring in every room. In addition to the three delivery rooms, the clinic has two separate labor rooms, three examination rooms and a nursing room on the ward. After extensive renovation work, the delivery room will move back to the second floor in the coming weeks.

"Parents-to-be are in good hands with us," said the acting chief physician Dr.

Germ.

"In addition to our customary, individual obstetrics with lots of love and security, the young families have a needs-based specialist department that is state-of-the-art in medical technology."

With continuous cardiotocography (CTG), the child's heart sounds are monitored and the well-being of the unborn child is checked in the labor phase.

All newborns are examined, looked after and treated if necessary by experienced paediatricians.

For special situations, such as adjustment disorders or blood sugar fluctuations, monitoring stations and appropriately trained nursing staff are available.
