District - Numerous projects are planned in the Miesbach district in 2022.

Almost 130 million euros are to be invested by 2025.

After the district committee, the district council has now finally decided on the budget for 2022.

The controversial point was again the planned increase in the staff at the district office.

In the end, Gisela Hölscher (FW) and the representatives of the Bavarian party refused to approve the budget.

The figures developed in the round table committee and drawn up and presented by district treasurer Gerhard de Biasio provide for a deficit of almost 9 million euros in the financial budget.

The compensation is possible from liquid funds.

Despite considerable investments in the coming years, de Biasio does not plan to take out a loan of 2.6 million euros until 2025.

“Nevertheless, we will continue to reduce our debt net in 2025,” he said.

127.6 million euros in investments

In 2022 he has planned a repayment of almost 5 million euros.

The debt level is expected to fall to just under 71 million euros by the end of 2022.

Despite the high liabilities, there is substantial investment.

De Biasio has set almost 14 million euros for building construction work and 1 million euros for civil engineering.

The treasurer explained that investments totaling 127.6 million euros are planned for 2021 and the next four years.

In addition to the small loan in these proportions in 2025, financing from your own resources is possible.

This also shows how productive the Miesbach district is, said de Biasio.

Social and youth growing posts

The 17 municipalities will transfer a total of 82.4 million euros to the district in 2022.

The income from the district levy increases by 2.7 million euros despite the constant assessment rate.

The district must again transfer the 1.6 million euros more (34.9 million euros) to the district.

The district will spend 20.6 million euros on its staff in 2022 (previous year: 19.4 million euros).

A large and growing item is spending on social affairs and youth.

The planned grant requirement is 17.2 million euros.

The hospital levy is set at 2.5 million euros.

Praise for budget 2022

In the building construction work, the general renovation of the vocational school is the largest item with 3 million euros.

For the replacement of the district office, 2.2 million have been set for 2022.

The new building will cost a total of 28.2 million euros.

From all groups there was praise for the solid budget, as Andreas Hallmannsecker (FWG) called the figures.

Christine Negele (SPD) spoke of trust in the budget and responsible handling of finances.

Christian Köck sees the district on the right path despite adverse circumstances.

The Greens also agreed and, according to Cornelia Riepe, would have supported higher investments.
