The controversies are less clear-cut.
It is no longer a question of whether to confine or not, to close schools or not, to vaccinate or not.
It is the relevance of this or that measure that is discussed, the “last minute” side of announcements - at school - which is criticized, the consistency of the systems which is questioned.
Numerous misunderstandings remain, but the virulence of the exchanges is as if attenuated.
There is a form of paradox here: the advance towards the presidential election - 96 days from now to the first round - should favor a hardening of positions;
the controversy over the presence of the European flag is an example.
