A doctor, a 44-year-old gynecologist living in Haifa, was arrested on suspicion of rape, indecent acts and sexual harassment of three of his patients, all in their 20s.

The police will decide whether to request an extension of his detention in the court in Haifa tomorrow

A Haifa-based gynecologist was arrested this evening (Monday) on suspicion of committing sexual offenses on three of his patients in their 20s.

The gynecologist's name is Guy Rofa, and he is 44 years old. Depending on the development of the investigation and its findings, the police will decide whether to ask for an extension of his detention in the Haifa court tomorrow.

Police opened an investigation about a week ago, after receiving complaints from three young women in their 20s, all of whom are being treated by a doctor.

The investigation raised the suspicion of rape, indecent acts and sexual harassment by the gynecologist during their treatment.
