Man attacks women in Tel Aviv (police spokeswoman)
An indictment was filed today (Monday) against a 26-year-old man from Jerusalem, for assaulting women and girls throughout Tel Aviv, without prior acquaintance with them, but only against the background of being women.
Police opened an investigation when a week ago they received a report of an assault on a 55-year-old woman on Marmorek Street in Tel Aviv.
According to the woman, the suspect approached her and punched her in the face causing her injury.
Passers-by who were present at the incident detained the suspect at the scene, until the police arrived, who arrested him and took him for questioning.
After the investigation of the case, police investigators linked the suspect to four different assault incidents throughout Tel Aviv, in which he approached young women and foreign girls on various streets in the city and attacked with punches and kicks.
