Rudelzhausen's Mayor Michael Krumbucher takes the turn of the year as an opportunity to look back and look back.

He has announced two major projects for 2022.

Rudelzhausen

- No citizens' meeting, no Christmas market, no senior afternoons: Corona barely allowed social life in Rudelzhausen last year either. A fact that Mayor Michael Krumbucher expressly regrets in an information sheet on the situation.

In the letter, which was distributed to all households, Krumbucher explains that I am sorry that Corona is still largely paralyzing social life in the village.

He is encouraged by the solidarity and creativity of the many volunteers in associations and institutions.

The public bookcase in Tegernbach is named as one of the outstanding examples in the information sheet.

Finding a suitable location was not easy.

But thanks to committed helpers like Micha Schmid, his daughter Lea and Rosi Hofbauer, the perfect location for it has been found at the bus stop.

Sports clubs are creative

When asked, Krumbucher can think of other exemplary campaigns.

For example, SV Rudelzhausen has set an example with a surprise bag campaign and SC Tegernbach has also had great success with its online Christmas tree auction.

Nevertheless, social life is already suffering a lot, says Krumbucher.

If only because you can no longer get together in the pandemic.

According to Krumbucher, the order of the day is: "You just have to be good."

By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.

Progress in the renovation of the outdoor swimming pool

Otherwise, the town hall chief relies on pragmatism.

Because there was and is enough to do and get started.

The most important thing for him is the renovation of the outdoor pool.

"I am glad that we have now made progress and have finally been able to award the trades," says Krumbucher about the decision, after which one bit the bullet and struggled to close the bathroom for a year for better or worse to renovate properly and then to be able to operate properly again for decades.

Next major project: road construction

"The next major project that we will tackle in the coming one is road construction," announced Krumbucher. He is talking about a whole catalog of measures and investments in the millions. According to Krumbucher, a further 600,000 to 700,000 euros are earmarked for road construction this year. One of the most urgent tasks is the renovation of Dorfstrasse in Notzenhausen and the construction of a sidewalk on Fichtenweg. The bridge on Kirchgasserl, the new construction of which has now been postponed again, will also be a topic. Krumbucher expects the order to be awarded as early as February - if everything goes well. By 2023, it is also necessary to completely expand Mainburger Strasse. The district is responsible for this, but before it can be tackled, the construction of the rainwater sewer must be carried out. They also want to renew the sidewalk.

Rainwater sewer will be a topic

Krumbucher's major projects also include the rainwater sewer in Tegernbach and investments in rain retention measures. Due to various flood events in Tegernbach, the municipality had its own flood protection concept developed, which is to be implemented in several construction phases. Among other things, the plan is to build a new flood protection dam on Nandlstädter Strasse and to build a new "retention basin west". According to a cost estimate from 2018, a total of 613,000 euros is to be expected. But that should no longer be quite enough. According to a prognosis, a cost increase of five percent can be assumed. On the other hand, it is positive that there is a government grant of 60 percent for the project. Construction phase 1 has already taken place. The realization of construction phase II was initially difficult due to the sluggish land negotiations. In this context, Krumbucher is happy that the land acquisition has now been completed. “A topic that has preoccupied us for a long time,” he emphasizes.

Reserves have increased somewhat

In said information sheet, the administration goes into detail on the development of the community in the form of graphics and statistics, which always relate to previous years. The most meaningful parameters of a municipality are generally included in the income tax share, trade tax and the status of debts and reserves. It looked pretty good until the end. Despite Corona, income tax has remained stable at around 2.2 million. The trade tax rose from 688,000 euros to 726,000 euros. As of November 3, 2021, total debts rose by 160,000 euros. The per capita debt has been falling for years. In June 2021 it was 400 euros. In terms of reserves, an increase of 475,000 euros was recently recorded. So these are not bad prerequisites for making the investments mentioned by Krumbucher.

School auditorium remains "meeting room" for the time being

The preparation and implementation of twelve municipal council meetings and the 263 public as well as 109 non-public resolutions that were passed this year speak for the fact that one is not inactive in the town hall and in the municipal council.

In addition, up to and including November 36 building applications were processed and 35 building permits issued.

The meetings all took place in the school auditorium - with distance rules and strict hygiene regulations.

It was always mandatory to wear a mask.

It looks like nothing will change in the foreseeable future.
