At the height of an epidemic - the end of isolation for returnees from abroad?
This morning (Monday) the Ministry of Health sent messages to returnees to Israel, according to which they are exempt from isolation upon receiving a negative answer to the corona tests they performed after landing in Israel.
Some of the messages sent informed the circulars that they could be released after receiving a negative response or no later than 24 hours, and some of them received the exemption after receiving the negative response.
A hearing is expected today at the Ministry of Health where the list of red states will be discussed and most if not all of them will probably be removed.
Another option being considered by the Ministry of Health is to exempt vaccinated people returning from red countries from isolation.
It is currently unclear whether there is a connection between the messages received this morning returning to Israel and the instructions that may be received at the Ministry of Health on this issue.
No response has yet been received from the Ministry of Health.
