Giuseppe Cannavò, 35, is out of danger, the man injured yesterday afternoon in a shooting that instead cost the life of Giovanni Portugal, 31, in the Camaro district of Messina.
Shot in the neck by a bullet, Cannavò hospitalized in Piedmont, was then operated on at the Policlinico hospital last evening and despite his condition is still critical, doctors believe he is out of danger.
Investigators last night questioned numerous people and identified a suspect, who was then released.
Another suspect is untraceable;
the carabinieri would be on his trail.
Investigators led by the Messina Prosecutor's Office at the moment do not exclude any leads but favor that of a settling of scores in the context of drug dealing.
