Eight months to the day after the murder of Chahinez Daoud in Mérignac (Gironde), six police officers will appear before a disciplinary council on Tuesday in Paris and Bordeaux.
At the end of October, the director general of the national police had decided to summon them after the submission of a report from the IGPN, the “police force”, on this affair.
This report reached the same conclusions as an inspection mission launched in May and carried out by the General Inspectorate of Administration and the General Inspectorate of Justice: a series of failures and negligence of the police and justice services. failing to prevent the murder of Chahinez Daoud.
