Anas, 18, who has a degree of vision, has less than one in ten, and Wissam, 15, who has a complete palm with full vision, turned their desire to learn to play into reality after being trained by the coach Mufid Hudaifa within the Philippos Center for Development and Training in Sweida. On the occasion of the Arab Day for Children with Disabilities.

Anas, the percussionist and Wissam on the keyboard, find that playing represents a turning point in their lives, giving them a state of optimism and nourishing their souls with joy and happiness, revealing their ambitions to develop their level for the better to reach the stage of professional playing.

What the two brothers succeeded in the field of music is complemented by their love for science and study within the blind department of the Institute of Special Education for Hearing Impairment, where the eldest of them is currently studying in the third grade of secondary for the literary branch and the youngest in the ninth grade, with each of them having ambitions to work in the fields of computer and electronics.

“Insight is stronger than sight,” said the two brothers, Anas and Wissam, who have faith in their capabilities and ability to give. They send a message to every person with a disability not to stop at it and transcend it by doing an act or with knowledge that leaves an impact on society.

According to Ahed Abu Fakher, the teacher in the Blind Department of the Institute of Special Education for Hearing Impairment, Anas and Wissam provide a vivid example of two ambitious and talented young men, pointing to other interests that occupy Anas, who is good at repairing small electrical parts, while he possesses a medal of love for exploration and passion for learning anything new.

Anas and Wissam, according to the director of the Institute of Special Education for Hearing Impairment Anas Al-Safadi, have creative aspects and academic excellence, and they were included in the institute's artistic troupe, following up on their talent, and involving them in various parties.
