Pascal Cardonna, 55, until then an anonymous radio executive, rose to prominence under the pseudonym "

" by playing supporting roles in viral videos of Jeremstar, Jeremy Gisclon, whose real name is Jeremy Gisclon. The latter had made himself known by publishing at a frantic pace information on reality TV and extracts of his life on Snapchat which made him the most followed French on this social network. He had also joined the team of chroniclers of Thierry Ardisson.

In early 2018, Pascal Cardonna was accused of having invited minors to participate in parties at his home where alcohol was flowing freely.

The case had erupted on the sidelines of a settling of scores that had agitated social networks, during which a "
