Fourteen people were killed and three others injured as a result of a landslide that occurred at a hospital construction site in Beijie City, southwest China's Guizhou Province.
"A landslide occurred at the construction site of First People Hospital late yesterday evening, after which rescue and search teams today found 14 bodies and three injured people who were taken to hospitals in stable condition," the China Daily newspaper quoted the city's information office as saying.
And the Chinese authorities opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident and find out its causes.
