A 61-year-old reservist police officer killed himself for an undetermined reason on Tuesday January 4 in the premises of the Besançon police station, presumably using his service weapon, AFP learned from a police source.

This retired bisontin police officer, who was on duty at the police station, was discovered dead in the premises of the police station by colleagues in the early afternoon.

," the Departmental Director of Public Security of Doubs, Yves Cellier, told AFP.
