Ile-de-France: their app allows you to save on more than 250 outings and leisure activities

2022-01-04T17:07:02.613Z

Myriam and Araxi, from Alfortville and Clichy-sous-Bois, have just won a prize in the Paris Region Creators of the Future competition for their work.

What if you started the year by taking care of your wallet while sharing good times with a loved one in the Paris region?

This is possible thanks to the N'Joy app launched by Myriam and Araxi, 30 and 28, two respective residents of Clichy-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis) and Alfortville (Val-de-Marne).

The concept is simple and effective: a leisure or a dish purchased gives the right to a leisure or a dish offered, among more than 250 partners in Paris and its suburbs, in exchange for a subscription of 9.99 euros per month without commitment of duration. This also concerns meals at restaurants (Thai, French, Mexican, etc.), beauty salon massages, microlight baptism, kayaking, cinema screening, karaoke, tree climbing or even an evening guided tour of Paris in an electric quad. Ideal for small budgets while participating in the revival of businesses affected by the Covid-19 crisis.

"The customer makes the cost of the subscription profitable from the first use", emphasizes Myriam.

“We set ourselves apart from other 'good deals' providers who often focus on quantity, not quality,” adds Araxi.

We handpick our partners, with activities that we like too.

"

2,000 euros saved per year

“After our master's degree at Upec in Créteil, we got a permanent contract in Dubai,” say the two friends.

There, we discovered an app offering “one bought = one free” in many restaurants, places of entertainment, etc.

It allowed us to save around 2,000 euros per year in terms of going out and discovering great places.

"

The young women note that the application exists in 17 countries but not in France.

"This concept was such a good plan in our eyes that it made us want to create our company by importing it in order to highlight the attractiveness of Île-de-France", they summarize.

The Mieux Entreprendre 93 network and the Paris Terre d'Envol agglomeration open their arms to them, supporting them from their beginnings in 2019. Then the two budding entrepreneurs grow their company in an incubator in Aulnay-sous-Bois, before now stand on their own feet, using coworking centers in Créteil, Paris, Saint-Denis ...

"The app brings us visibility and serious customers"

The Covid is slowing down their good momentum in 2020 but the two friends continue to canvass brands.

And it works.

Today, the network of partners has around 250 restaurateurs and traders, soon to be 300.

Lisa, from the Thai restaurant Mam'Asia in Ivry-sur-Seine, avenue Maurice-Thorez, immediately said yes: “This app gives us visibility and puts us forward.

She brings us serious, motivated customers who pay 10 euros per month to discover addresses that Myriam and Araxi have carefully selected.

They went there, tasted the dishes.

Finally, we benefit from quality word of mouth thanks to these customers, who will often make a story on Instagram, a post on Snapchat, etc.

"

In December 2021, the two young women won the audience's prize at the 11th edition of the regional competition for Créatrices d'avenir, organized by the Initiative Île-de-France network.

Myriam and Araxi won one year of entrepreneurship support as well as 4,500 euros.

“This amount will do our cash well,” they laugh.

For the moment, we live on our own funds, we have not paid a single salary.

We get paid thanks to the many messages of support and satisfaction from our subscribers.

It boosts our determination.
