Al-Suwayda tennis players, Bana Azi and Laith Al-Hassan, qualified to participate in the West Asian Championship for the U-14 category, which will be hosted by the United Arab Emirates this month.

The Secretary of the Technical Committee for Tennis in Suwayda, Rami Makled, indicated in a statement to the SANA representative that the qualification of Bana and Laith came after they won the national team selection tests, which were set up by the Game Association in Damascus during the past two days and witnessed strong competitions between the participating players, especially for males, indicating that he also qualified based on On the results of the tests, the player of the Aleppo team, Osama Al-Sarraj, and the player of the Hama team, Mary Abrash.

Makled pointed out that the qualification of the players is an achievement that reflects the extent of the good base for tennis in As-Suwayda and the attention given to it by the training and administrative cadres and the Executive Committee of the Sports Federation branch, as well as the continuous follow-up of the players and their support by the people.

Laith and Bana players have previously won several championships for the age groups during the last period.
