Another musical work, the third in the "Jump of the Road" series, is published on Rosh Chodesh Shevat and continues the revolutionary idea.
The first song in the project "Dada Biya 2022" composed by Yossi Green and performed with great grace by Avraham Fried, the second was "Yesh Emuna" sung by Amit Listwund, and this time "Simple Jew" by Lipa Schmelzer, an exciting musical that stunned the music world when it was created. "Exits that stand out in Lipa's many years of work and variety.
The lyrics in Yiddish were composed by Oli Grossman and the song was released in 1958 on an album bearing the name A Simple Jew.
The "Leap Forward" initiative selects a classic worthy of wearing contemporary and up-to-date electronic music, "pulls out" with innovative technology the voice of the original song performer, rebuilds the song and arrangement - and presents listeners with a new piece starring the singer's original voice. Thus, the "leap forward" that the new song has made since it was created many years ago, to a contemporary sound and style - makes it a vibrant and up-to-date song, out of great respect for the original arrangement, without destroying it, or God forbid, downgrading it.
The project is signed by Yochanan Bleich, a talented music arranger, media person and parade presenter Kobi Sela and the branding and design strategist Eyal Gur who designed the graphic language of the entire project. So far, 9 songs have been prepared in the "Jump of the Road" lab, and more songs are in the works.
