The symposium held by the Cultural Center in Abu Rumaneh under the title (Resisting Cultural Invasion and Assassination of Symbols) focused on the crimes of assassination of intellectuals and resistance fighters by Zionism, its tools and agents.
Abdel Qader Haifawi, Vice President of the Free Palestine Movement, explained that the Zionist assassination plans targeted the personalities who devoted their lives to resisting it, and the last of them was the martyr Qassem Soleimani.
And in his axis between the cultural advisor at the Iranian embassy in Syria, Dr. Syed Hamid Reza Asmati, that American arrogance, the Zionist occupation and terrorism are the spearhead of the aggression against the nation, and that the assassination of symbols is an endeavor that those in charge of this aggression have been doing in the belief that they influence the resistance movements, but it continues because it is a human conflict. An instinct is based on love of goodness, loyalty and giving, and hatred of injustice, as was demonstrated by the martyr Soleimani.
The head of the Iranian-Palestinian Friendship Association, Dr. Muhammad Al-Buhaisi, also explained that Soleimani acquired a moral education from his early childhood, like all the martyrs who were assassinated by the gangs of the Zionist entity.
The director of the symposium, poet and media figure, Muhammad Khaled al-Khidr, stopped at the great names who rose to the sky due to their martyrdom at the hands of the occupation, including Ghassan Kanafani and his cultural role in resistance and confrontation, artist Naji al-Ali, Khalil al-Wazir, and Qassem Soleimani.
Some of the attendees, writers and researchers, made interventions indicating the importance of perpetuating the culture of resistance because it is the truest expression of the nation's identity.
