The general increase in construction costs makes the planned kindergarten on Raistinger Straße in Wielenbach more expensive.
It could be up to 6.7 million euros.
Wielenbach
- The new kindergarten will cost the Wielenbach community more than originally thought. The reason is the increased building prices. The 5.2 million euros for the new building turned into 5.9 million euros, and by the time the tender is issued, this could turn into 6.7 million euros. The design planning for the day care center on Raistinger Straße has been completed. At the latest meeting of the municipal council, the architects Achim Füllemann and Verena Füllemann from the Gilching firm “Füllemann Architekten” presented the planning.
The daycare center consists of two buildings that are connected by a central building.
The northern house stands on the western boundary of the property, parallel to the Ammersee stretch of the railway, the southern house stands on Raistinger Strasse, and the entrance area of the daycare center is in the connecting building.
There is a small square in front of the entrance building, which is secured against traffic by bollards.
The parking lot is on Wessobrunner Weg, which runs south of the daycare center.
Natural garden for the boys and girls
In the south-western area of the day care center is a garden which, according to Achim Füllemann, “can be designed to be close to nature at the request of the user”.
A sand play area, which is delimited by tree trunks, takes up a large space.
A lawn for ball games is planned on the southern house, on which benches and tables can also be set up for events.
At the houses there are covered arcades facing the garden on the upper floor, which together with the two stairs at the ends also serve as escape routes.
For the energy supply, according to Verena Füllemann, photovoltaic systems are planned on the pitched roofs, which are connected to the power grid.
Your electricity primarily covers your own consumption, with an electrically operated groundwater heat pump being used for heating.
Architects suggest ways to save
According to the architects, the increase in costs, which is based on the general increase in building prices, can be reduced by savings in equipment, but cannot be offset. Savings on the floor structure in the basement and on the tiles are possible. In addition, the glass roof over the escape balcony can be replaced by a cheaper closed roof. On the other hand, there are additional costs for securing the construction pit on the railway line compared to the first cost estimate. Test drilling would have shown that the subsoil required more complex protection. The construction of the foundations will also be more expensive, as there is a layer of peat in the ground. The municipal councils agreed with the planning. However, no decision was made as it was just an idea of the draft plan.
