Silz - A 32-year-old German from the Upper Bavarian district of Weilheim-Schongau died in a ski area in Tyrol (Austria) after being hit by a 35-year-old's car.
According to the police, the woman from Germany got into the opposite lane with her car yesterday, Sunday, in Silz in the Tyrolean Imst district for an unknown reason.
Her car caught her 32-year-old compatriot.
The winter sports enthusiast from Bavaria was on foot.
Car accident in Tyrol: 61-year-old injured - driver's alcohol test negative
After the collision, the car hit two vehicles parked in a parking lot, it said.
A 61-year-old German who was putting on her ski boots in one of the parked vehicles was seriously injured in the leg.
She was flown to the hospital in a rescue helicopter.
All three vehicles were total losses, the police said, according to the APA.
An alcohol test on the 35-year-old accident driver who lives in Tyrol turned out negative.

In another traffic accident in Sölden in Tyrol on Sunday, a 28-year-old German hit a 15-year-old compatriot who was walking in his car and seriously injured his leg.
The youth was brought to the hospital by rescue helicopter, APA reported.
