The Syrian Antiquities Exhibition (The Wonderful Syria) has made its second stop in Chengdu in the People's Republic of China, and will continue until next May, and will include holding scientific seminars and cultural events.
The exhibition, in which the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums participates, includes 195 important archaeological and artistic pieces from the collections and collections of Syrian museums. The participating pieces were carefully selected to tell the story of the Syrian civilization from the dawn of history through ancient times until Islamic times, and to express the uniqueness, diversity and richness of the Syrian cultural heritage.
The exhibition comes according to the statement of the Ministry of Culture, a copy of which was received by SANA today, as a culmination of the Syrian-Chinese cultural relations, which was also translated by Syria's joining the Asian alliance to protect the Syrian cultural heritage in danger.
The first edition of the exhibition, organized by the Foundation of Art Exhibitions in China, was launched last August, when the Nanshan Museum in Shenzhen hosted an exhibition containing 195 pieces of Syrian antiquities, which attracted a large number of visitors and those interested in witnessing the splendor and beauty of Syria's civilization and history.
