The Chief Military Prosecutor found that the investigation carried out was comprehensive and conducted professionally, while investing resources and efforts to clarify the circumstances of the death.

At the same time, it ruled that in this unique and exceptional case, since the investigation did not lead to an unequivocal conclusion as to the cause of death of the deceased, every effort should be made to ensure that "no stone was left unturned" in the investigation.

Therefore, it decided that the investigation materials would be forwarded in full for review by a dedicated advisory team of the Israel Police.

The team will be composed of experienced investigators, with relevant knowledge, who will examine the investigation materials and recommend whether further investigative actions are necessary.

The HQP investigation will remain open and any further investigative action will be carried out by it.

The decision was made in coordination with the head of the Investigations Division of the Israel Police, and after the matter was presented to the Attorney General.

After receiving the team's recommendations, decisions will be made regarding the investigation file.
