The cultural association Schöngeising (KuSch) has put together its program for the new year - and those responsible hope that more events can then take place than in 2020 and 2021.

Schöngeising - To be on the safe side, the team around chairman Gerhard Gauck has more outdoor offers in its program in the first half of the year. From autumn 2022, however, they will be relying on being able to use the community center again without restrictions. "When we put our program together for the next year in autumn 2020, we did not think that the corona pandemic would still affect us so much in 2021," writes Gauck in the foreword of the small program booklet. But then you had to postpone again. Despite this disappointment, the team is motivated to head into the new event year. The first appointment is on Saturday, February 5th: Then it's off to the Hypo-Kunsthalle in Munich for a tour of the exhibition “Fantastically Real - Belgian Modernism from Ensor to Magritte”. Admission with a guided tour costs 20 euros. The association's annual meeting is scheduled for Friday, February 18. It starts at 7.30 p.m. in the sports center.

Young and old are invited to the Bürgerhaus on Sunday, March 13th, when Martina Türschmann reads from her book “Miesegrimm - Der Spielverderber”.

Coffee and cake are available from 2.15 p.m., the program starts at 3 p.m.

The tickets for children aged eight and over and adults cost three euros.

Then when it is a little warmer, it goes outside. First on Sunday, April 24th, in the episcopal city of Augsburg. The city tour also includes a visit to the Fuggerei. This will be followed on Sunday, May 15, by the walking reading “The Danube - a link in Europe”. Actress Michaela Stögbauer goes on a literary-musical excursion along the Amper with a maximum of 20 participants. And finally, on Sunday, June 26th, it's Graggenau. Rainer Maurer guides you through this rather unknown old town district of Munich.

In summer 2022 it should work again with the culture tent on the sports field. For Saturday, July 16, the KuSch has the band “Dr. Will and the Wizards ”. In addition, one would like to offer a children's holiday program again. In the form of a theater workshop for five to eight year olds from August 15th to 19th. A maximum of twelve girls and boys can be there. Participation costs 50 euros because the association subsidizes the offer.

Theater to go for adults is on Saturday and Sunday, September 10th and 11th.

“A spectacle for the handbag” is the name of the tour that leads through Schöngeising.

Then four more events will follow in the community center by the end of the year: cabaret with Sara Brandhuber (October 15), the hobby artist market “Schöngeising Kreativ” (November 5/6) and children's theater with Sebastian Knözinger: it can be seen on Sunday, November 27, the piece "Adalbert, the 8th dwarf".

The program ends on Friday, December 23rd: on the 80th anniversary of Johanna Oppenheimer's death, who died on December 23rd, 1942 in the Theresienstadt concentration camp, the life of the Jewish painter is illuminated.

The reading with music (initiator Jupp Peters, concept Susanne Poller) is entitled “A yellow star goes through the village”.

Monika Stöhr will provide the musical accompaniment.
