A child abuse incident is suspected in the "Tong Le Ju" under the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children. So far, 6 employees have been arrested, and a total of 20 children have been suspected of being victimized.
The Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children incident was revealed from the 9th to New Year's Day (1st) to apologize to the children and parents of "Tong Le Ju" on social networking sites.
As of today (4th), the executive committee of the association said that it attaches great importance to the "Tongleju Incident", and yesterday (3rd) passed the establishment of an independent review committee to comprehensively review the incident and the management and operation of the organization.
The Independent Review Committee is chaired by Huang Jiachun, the former president of the Law Society of Hong Kong, and its members include Zhou Baoling, a former senior clinical psychologist of the Social Welfare Department, Chen Guoling, former head of the psychiatric department of Queen Mary Hospital, and Luo Shujun, former director-general of the Boys' Clubs.
