Dr. Saad El-Din Kulaib, in his new edition, “The Words of Beauty,” addresses the general reader more than the specialist, so he resorted to a different method from his previous books in terms of language, style, methodology and discourse.
The book, issued within the series “Linguistic Issues” by the Syrian General Book Organization, presents a shedding light on the aesthetic field in its various corners and angles, in a manner far from complexity and strictness.
Critic Kulaib uses in this book a scientific methodology that links words and their meanings despite the literary expression in them. and aesthetic tastes.
Despite the literary expression that we find in the book, the author approaches aesthetics in a literary language to reach its implications and impact on us, and the relationship between art and beauty, between beauty and pleasure, and between art and freedom.
In his book, the critic seeks a literary expressive form that embraces all the words and their methodological applications, in order to ease the idiomatic language and scientific rigor through it, citing what is beautiful and close to the recipient.
