The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 19 deaths and 796 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, stated in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 388,651 cases, and the total deaths have reached 21,836.
Abdul Ghaffar indicated that 821 people recovered from the virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovered to 23,3001 people to date.
Yesterday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 20 deaths and 723 infections with the Corona virus.
