26 new lottery millionaires in Lower Saxony in 2021

The number of new lottery millionaires in Lower Saxony increased significantly in 2021 compared to the previous year.
Nationwide there were 26 million wins last year - a year earlier there were 11, as the German Lotto and Totoblock (DLTB) announced on Wednesday in Hanover.
Most of the new millionaires in 2021 were in Baden-Württemberg (39), followed by North Rhine-Westphalia (35).
Hanover - Lower Saxony followed in third place.
The fourth highest win in Germany also went to Lower Saxony - one lucky guy won around 36 million euros in the classic “6 out of 49”.
A total of 181 new lottery millionaires were counted nationwide in 2021.
Lotto Niedersachsen has been the lead lottery company in the DLTB since January 1, 2022.
An essential task will be to strengthen the lottery offers "in an increasingly digital and competitive environment," said Axel Holthaus, Managing Director of Lotto Niedersachsen.
