New year, new Speedmaster.
Omega inaugurates 2022 with a new vintage design piece directly inspired by the very first Speedmaster.
But this time, its 38.6 mm diameter case is made from an 18-carat Canopus white gold alloy, hence its high price (€ 80,000).
On its deep black onyx dial stamped with a vintage Omega logo, associated with 18K white gold hands and indexes with Canopus Gold PVD treatment, we find the three classic Speedmaster sub-dials, including a small seconds display, a 30-minute recorder and a 12-hour recorder, as well as the central chronograph function.

Vintage style obliges, we also find on this piece a tachymeter scale, on the bezel, filled with black “Grand Feu” enamel, with two details very popular with collectors of the original Speedmaster: the signature dot above the number 90 and the diagonal of the 70.
