Penzberg - A stranger injured a pigeon in Penzberg with a blowpipe arrow.
It is not the first case.
The police are investigating.
As the Penzberg police now report, the report was received on Sunday (December 26th): A resident on Barbarastrasse reported an injured pigeon.
The bird was apparently shot with an arrow from a blowpipe.
According to the police, a pigeon, also injured by a blowpipe, was found on October 28 - not far from it in the “An der Freiheit” area.
In both cases, the Penzberg police station is investigating an offense under the Animal Welfare Act.
Witness information is requested (phone 08856/92570).
Furthermore, "the knowledge of a resident pigeon fancier could be relevant for further police investigations," the inspection said.
