For the thirteenth time in a row, the Paris-Nice cyclist will set off from Yvelines on Sunday March 6.
The race in the sun, which marks the real start of the international season in Europe, will take place for two days in the Ile-de-France region.
The first stage will take place around Mantes-la-Ville, eight years after the big start of the race from Mantes-la-Jolie.
The next day, the peloton will set off from the village of Auffargis (2,000 inhabitants), well known to cyclists who crisscross the famous Chevreuse valley every weekend.
The German Schachmann for a hat-trick?
Two years after an edition truncated by the health crisis, Paris-Nice had regained its classic face last year.
The big start was given from Saint-Cyr-l'École on Sunday, and the second stage started from the village of Oinville-sur-Montcient, still in Yvelines, on Monday.
On the Promenade des Anglais, a week later, the final victory went to the German Maximilian Schachmann (Bora), already winner in 2020.
