Sean Hannity, conservative media star and regular guest at Donald Trump meetings, is of interest to those elected to this parliamentary inquiry because of his
“dozens of text messages”
sent to the Republican billionaire and his entourage in the days preceding and following the invasion of the US Congress.

On this cold winter day, thousands of supporters of Donald Trump had invaded the headquarters of the United States Congress to try to prevent elected officials from certifying the victory of Joe Biden in the presidential election.
"I am very worried about the next 48 hours
," wrote Sean Hannity in one of the texts, sent on January 5, the day before the attack.

Almost a year to the day after the attack on Congress, the two elected officials at the head of a parliamentary investigation sent a letter inviting Sean Hannity to cooperate.
