Today, the Iraqi security forces arrested eight terrorists during several operations they carried out in Baghdad, Kirkuk and Diyala.
And the Iraqi News Agency, INA, quoted the Security Media Cell as saying in a statement that “the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior carried out separate operations that resulted in the arrest of four terrorists in Baghdad governorate, three in Kirkuk and a terrorist in Diyala,” noting that the eight are wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 Terrorism because they belong to the terrorist “ISIS” gangs.
The cell indicated in its statement that legal measures were taken against the originally arrested terrorists.
The Iraqi forces continue to pursue the remaining remnants of ISIS terrorists in a number of regions of the country.
