One of the most fun things to eat when it rains non-stop is soup - and if you ask us, then bean soup is one of our favorites.
Know what?
This recipe can suit even if the weather is not wintery, and that's what matters in the end - that it will be delicious every time again!
Raw materials:
2 cups white beans, after soaking in water for 12 hours
Tablespoon baking soda
4 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves chopped garlic
A teaspoon of cumin
A tablespoon of turmeric
2 teaspoons paprika
A pinch of black pepper
A small box of tomato paste
Teaspoon of salt
Water, as needed
Preparation:
Drain the beans from the soaking water, add baking soda and mix.
Pause for half an hour, then rinse well.
Heat the olive oil in a large pot and add the garlic.
Fry while stirring until golden.
Add the spices (except salt) and fry for a minute while stirring.
Add the tomato paste and mix.
Add the beans and stir once more.
Add water to half the height of the pot, and bring to a boil over high heat.
Add the salt, lower the heat and cook for an hour and a half, stirring occasionally, until the beans soften.
Taste, season and serve.
