The Director of Transport in Sweida, Faisal Al-Shehayeb, revealed that the revenues achieved in the Directorate of Transport in Sweida during the past year amounted to 860 million and 298 thousand pounds, distributed between fees collected and income tax.
Al-Shehayeb indicated in a statement to SANA Economic Center that the number of transactions completed during the same period amounted to 77,983 transactions, while 971 new mechanisms were registered for the first time.
Al-Shehayeb pointed to the importance of networking between the directorate with the rest of the transportation directorates in the governorates in alleviating the burdens on citizens and facilitating the completion of transactions.
The total number of vehicles registered in the As-Suwayda Transport Directorate until the end of last year reached about 64,000.
