Rail accident at Thalham: 65-year-old Weyarner dead

Thalham - On Tuesday there was a collision between a car and a BRB train at the Thalham level crossing.
A 65-year-old Weyarner died.
There was a terrible accident on Tuesday (January 4th) around 3:30 p.m. at the Thalham level crossing.
As the police announced on Wednesday, the car of a 65-year-old man from Weyarn was dragged about 100 meters after it collided with a BRB train.
The driver was trapped in his car and died of serious injuries at the scene of the accident.
A large number of emergency services from the surrounding fire and rescue services were on site.
42 passengers on the train were uninjured and evacuated.
The 43-year-old train driver came to the Agatharied hospital in shock.
