Yesterday, Daniel Sapir was appointed CEO of Cellcom, replacing Avi Gabay, who recently retired from the company. Sapir previously served as director of the company's business division.
Sapir, 51, is married and a father of four, with a bachelor's and master's degree in business administration, and extensive managerial experience in the field of communications.
In his last position, he served as CEO of the ICT Group.
Prior to that, he served in a variety of management positions, including: VP of Business in Pelephone, Deputy CEO of HOT and VP of Sales at Barak 013.
