Munich - Bavaria's Prime Minister Markus Söder expects an expert recommendation before the federal-state meeting on Friday (January 7th).
"If there is a council of experts, it has to give a recommendation as to whether something needs to be changed and what," said the CSU boss at a press conference in Munich on Wednesday.
One must approach such decisions with reason.
Among other things, there is currently a lot of discussion about new quarantine rules, booster vaccinations and contact restrictions.
After a scientific recommendation, Söder would like a proposal from the traffic light government.
"But it has to be understandable," added Söder.
"Comprehensible for everyone," he also named as a criterion.
"Not a bureaucracy monster."
Bavarian police prepare for unannounced corona demos
Meanwhile, the Bavarian police in numerous municipalities are preparing for unannounced "walks" and meetings of opponents of the Corona measures.
In Munich alone, around 1000 officials are said to be on duty on Wednesday evening, according to police.
They get support from the federal police, who want to increase their presence at the main train station and at S-Bahn stations.
Not only in the state capital, but also in other Bavarian cities and communities, opponents of the Corona measures called for so-called walks.
However, many cities have not banned permanent rallies and threatened participants in unregistered demonstrations with fines.
