Super fueled up instead of diesel: the car suddenly catches fire - and burns out completely

A car was on fire on Monday evening on the B471 in the Fürstenfeldbruck district.

Shortly before the fire, the woman had refueled her car.

Geiselbullach - A car caught fire on the B471 near Geiselbullach on Monday evening at 5.30 p.m.

The car of a woman (52) from Detmold burned out completely.

The 52-year-old was heading for the Autobahn when flames rose.

She stopped her car and left the vehicle with her three children.

Car catches fire on the way to the motorway - 20,000 euros damage

The woman had refueled shortly before.

The son of the Detmold woman then noticed that his mother had previously used super gasoline instead of diesel, as the police reported.

The damage amounts to around 20,000 euros.

The Geiselbullach fire brigade, supported by emergency services from Esting, had already found the car in a full fire.

It was her first assignment that year.
