The professional-public committee for the nomination of candidates for the position of Attorney General published today (Wednesday) the list of candidates for the replacement of the Attorney General, Avichai Mandelblit. The list of candidates is Judge Michal Agmon-Gonen; Adv. Itai Ofir; Adv. Gali in Harav-Miara; Prof. Ariel Bandor; Dr. Aviad Bakshi; Adv. Il Yinon; Prof. Barak Medina; Adv. Raz Nazri and Dr. Roi Sheindorf. The candidates on behalf of Justice Minister Gideon Sa'ar are Adv. Bahar-Miara, Adv. Nazri and Dr. Sheindorf

. In recent months Saar has met with legal experts to consult on the correct model for splitting the post, and the split itself, if approved by the government, will be postponed to the next speaker's term.And it will likely have weight in the selection of candidates.
