On the night of the incident, Marina, her husband and their young son went to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, where the navy officers and doctors informed them that Ron was in stable condition, that his injury was being treated and that he felt reasonable. Her son was able to extricate himself thanks to the procedures and studies he went through during his training.
