Homs City Council workshops began stripping, cleaning and removing weeds and dust from the city's streets in order to improve the service situation there.
The engineer, Imad Al-Saleh, director of hygiene in the city council, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the cleaning work is carried out in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program and focused on Al-Sitteen, Zaidel, Fairoza, Ashera Al-Muhajireen, Dalal Nshiwati, Al-Masoudi, Hama Road, Omar Al-Batsh, Musab bin Al-Zubayr, Tripoli and the University City.
Al-Saleh indicated that the directorate’s workshops carried out cleaning campaigns in the sub-streets in the neighborhoods of Jub al-Jandali, al-Iskan district, al-Abbasiya, al-Muhajir, al-Sabil, customs, al-Mimas and al-Qarabis.
