Honoring the writers who won the Hanna Minh Prize for Fiction for the year 2021 and the authors of the book “Ather Tales”, which documented events and facts from the war on Syria, was the focus of the celebration held by the Arab Writers Union at the Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh.

The book (Fear Stories.. The Souls of a Father and a Hopeful Villain) comes in its first part as part of the national creative project to document the heroism of the army and the Syrian Arab people. Martyrs, wounded and terrorist crimes.

In his presentation to the authors of Fond Tales, the poet and journalist Tawfiq Ahmed, Vice President of the Writers Union, explained that this book is important because it accurately recounted the heroism of Syrians of all affiliations and their steadfastness against terrorists in a documented and literary style.

The writer Nasr Mohsen, who supervised the preparation of the book, pointed out that the writers who took over the preparation of the book visited the homes of those who sacrificed and were martyred in this war, and met their families and relatives, and transmitted accurate documents, indicating that this book will continue in other parts and include various literary forms and genres.

The storyteller and media personality Imad Nadaf, the reporter of the Story Society in the Writers Union, also indicated that the association sought to combine honoring the winners of the Hanna Mina Prize with the authors of the book "Fear Stories" to show the writers' individual creative abilities, especially that the award winners dealt with the national aspect in their productions.

The novelist Suhail Al-Deeb, Secretary of the Story Society in the Writers Union, saw that the cultural institution's celebration of its creators is a sign of wellness and a sign of embracing the writer in his country, which gives him the greatest motivation to pursue work and achievement.

Then the Vice-President of the Federation and members of the Executive Office presented honorary certificates to the writers who contributed to the writing of the book “Athir Stories”: (Naboug Asaad, Linda Ibrahim, Muhammad Al-Taher, Munir Jaba’i, Laila Saab, Taha Al-Rahl, Talal Salim, Samir Al-Matrood, Ayman Al-Hassan, Hassan Al-Nasser, Intisar Suleiman, Intisar Baalah and Muhammad Al-Hafri).

The winners of the Hanna Mina Prize were also honored, who are the writers Mohamed Al-Taher, Nidaa Hussein and Najah Ibrahim.

The celebration, which was attended by writers and writers, and the head of the Cultural Center, Rabab Ahmed, concluded with the signing of the book "Honored Stories" from the authors.
