Would you pay instead a family member who blew you away at the end of the meal at a restaurant?
This dilemma was recently faced by a woman from England, when her younger sister moved with her partner to live in her area as well.
She posted her thoughts on the Reddit social network, anonymously, telling about the chain of events and her reaction.
"My sister moved in with her partner to live with us and to celebrate the occasion we went out to an expensive restaurant in town," she said.
"At the end of the meal my sister said she was going to the bathroom but she disappeared and did not return. Her embarrassed partner went out to look for her and did not return either.
It all happened even though I explained to my sister that the payment for the meals would be separate.

She answered me: Thank you for the wonderful meal.
I got angry and reacted that I only pay for my and my husband's part and if she does not return to the restaurant I will give her details to the owners of the place. "
Despite this warning the nurse did not return to the restaurant and also ignored her sister's messages and warnings.
Therefore, the older nurse realized the threat and gave her sister’s details to the restaurant staff, while paying only for her portion.
"I kept my word," she said.
"I paid for my share only and gave my sister's details to the restaurant. The next day my sister called me agitated and asked why I did not pay for it, she said the restaurant called her and said they would contact the police. I explained to her that I did not pay for it. "This time I ruled that I did not pay for it."
"I added and said she can go pay yet because the restaurant has not yet complained to the police. She on the other hand said she was ashamed and asked me to pay instead, I refused again. Was I okay? Is my behavior correct" the nurse asked.
