Four years in prison
The victim, who has a swollen face and who suffers from an open wound to the skull, is taken to hospital.
The accused is placed in police custody at the Cozes brigade, where he recognizes the facts.
He was presented immediately to a magistrate from the Saintes public prosecutor's office and was placed in pre-trial detention before being tried in immediate appearance on January 4.
He was then sentenced to four years' imprisonment, one of which was suspended with a warrant of committal.
