The Hong Kong Anglican Church announced that in order to stop the fifth wave of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, public worship and group activities in Hong Kong will be suspended for a period of two weeks starting today.
The Episcopal Episcopal Church announced that in order to stop the fifth wave of COVID-19, the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region proposed to suspend religious activities. Therefore, the Episcopal Episcopal Church announced the following three arrangements applicable to the Hong Kong Church:
1. All churches will suspend all public worship and group activities (including weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays) from January 7th to 20th (both days inclusive), 2022.
2. The churches can be open to those in need for private prayer and meditation at designated times.
3. Each church can live broadcast worship online (the number of worshippers including holy goods is limited to four) or share information. Details will be announced on the website of the Ministry of Education or each church, and social media.
The Bishop's College will review the situation in due course and issue or instruct the Provincial Office to issue further instructions as needed.
