A 3-year-old man was evacuated today (Thursday) in critical condition to Rambam Hospital after he was hit by a stray bullet in Bir al-Maksur in the Lower Galilee.
An MDA team that was called to the scene provided the toddler with medical treatment and performed resuscitation operations on him after he was found without a pulse and without breathing in a playground.
MDA paramedics Yafa Gadir and Ahmad Abu Alhiga said: "There was a big commotion at the place.
The boy who suffered from penetrating and bleeding injuries to his body lay unconscious in the playground with no pulse and no breathing.
"We immediately started medical treatment and together with the paramedics in the intensive care unit, we evacuated him to the hospital while performing resuscitation operations when his condition was critical."
